Gerri Volchko Paulisick

Paulisick_Gerri_003Gerri Volchko Paulisick is a founding partner of Boyer Paulisick & Eberle. Ms. Paulisick was born on June 12, 1969 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. She graduated as valedictorian from Cornell High School in 1987 and from the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania in 1991, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the dual majors of Psychology and the Administration of Justice. She attended Duquesne University where she was awarded a Juris Doctor degree in 1994. While attending Duquesne University School of Law, Ms. Paulisick was appointed to the Duquesne University Law Review, serving as a Research Editor and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Business Law Journal.

Ms. Paulisick began her legal career in Butler County, Pennsylvania, as the law clerk for the Honorable Judge Thomas J. Doerr, President Judge of Butler County. In 1995, she joined the law firm of Murrin, Taylor, Flach & Horan, and was named a partner in 1999. In 2001, she formed the firm of Boyer & Paulisick with Cathy S. Boyer, Esquire, which became her current firm of Boyer Paulisick & Eberle with the addition of Kristen Batson Eberle, Esquire in 2008.  She currently serves as Managing Partner.

Ms. Paulisick has extensive experience with complex divorce, support and custody litigation, estate planning and guardianship matters and Collaborative Law and Mediation.  She has served as counsel for Butler County MH/MR, has been appointed by the Court to serve as Master in numerous family law matters, as Guardian Ad Litem for children and as Special Counsel for Butler County in Act 21 cases.

Ms. Paulisick is a Member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, past chair of that organization’s Client and Community Relations Committee, a member of the Association’s Family Law Section and currently serves on that Section’s Legislative Committee. She is a member of the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania (“CLASP”), the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Butler County Bar Association and a past member of the Butler County Family Court Rules Committee. Ms. Paulisick also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, past Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Visiting Nurses Association Foundation, past member of the Board of Directors of CANDLE, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to the prevention of drug and abuse through education, the Butler City Zoning Hearing Board, and the Multi-Municipal Planning Committee for the City of Butler.

Ms. Paulisick resides with her husband and two children in Butler, Pennsylvania.
